Procedural alien flesh and organic skin PBR material created in Adobe Substance 3D Designer.
This material is 100% procedural (no photo textures) and fully tileable. My goal was to create a believable alien creature surface with layered organic details, wet highlights and strong height and normal information that holds up in close‑up renders.
This is a study made by following the tutorial from Enrico Tammekänd on ArtStation Learning. It was a great exercise to practice procedural texturing, organic shapes and wet surface shading for sci‑fi and horror style assets.
The material uses a PBR metallic and roughness workflow and is resolution‑independent, working well at high resolutions such as 4K, 8K and higher. It can be used for alien skin shaders, sci‑fi horror environments or gore and flesh decals in real‑time engines.
