Old Wooden Chair – 3D Prop Study

This Old Wooden Chair project is a personal 3D art study inspired by Andrew Averkin’s tutorial.
The main focus was to create a realistic vintage chair with authentic wood aging, scratches, and surface imperfections that tell a story of time and use.
I wanted to capture the natural charm of old furniture — worn textures, subtle lighting, and the softness of a draped fabric — to give the model a believable, cinematic mood.
The process involved learning how to balance roughness, edge wear, and texture variation for a photorealistic look. It was a great exercise in attention to detail and visual storytelling through materials.
